Sustainable Development Project in Costa Rica

In 2008, Georgce Farrell moved to Costa Rica, the best place to learn about sustainability. Costa Rica currently generates more than 99 per cent of its electricity using five different renewable sources; hydropower (78%), wind (10%), geothermal energy (10%), biomass and solar (1%).

During his four years in Costa Rica, he developed the experience and knowledge to incorporate it in his development projects.

Mr. Farrell is now starting a development project with two other costarican companies in the beautiful Province of Guanacaste where one of the four Blue Zones is located.

The project is in the primary stage and it’s located on a 1300 acre forested property with a pristine river and a 51 acre lake.
